One of the last hick-ups in Linux is going to be resolved this year thanks to Mike and others. XMPP needs voice and video. Communication needs to be free of license patents.
Perhaps, but until everyone is going "free" I love technology that ties it all together.
I want to only use empathy, but Pidgin ties in so nicely with everyone I know from facebook to Skype it connects me with people. That's what any IM should do.
